Cards Deactivate Scams

The Canandaigua National Bank and Trust Company is aware of a recent text and automated phone scam requesting credit and debit card information for both customers and non-customers. The fraudulent messages and phone calls claim that the person’s cards have been deactivated and they must enter their account number and PIN in order to reactivate them.

Please be advised that these messages and phone calls are not from Canandaigua National Bank and Trust Company. Remember that Canandaigua National Bank and Trust Company will NEVER ask for your account or PIN number via text message, voicemail or email.
