About

Charles Vita joined Canandaigua National Bank & Trust in 2011 as a Senior Vice President for Commercial Services. Charlie has experience in large corporate, middle market, small business and retail banking. From 1993 to 2004 Charlie was Senior Vice President, Key Bank Corporate Banking followed by Senior Vice President/District President, RBS Citizens NA, from 2004 – 2011. Charlie’s background includes direct work with senior debt structure, capital markets, treasury management, international trade, bond finance and overall client account management. Charlie has been a member of numerous senior leadership teams supporting banking activities which include: sales management, credit risk, CRA, asset/liability management, compliance, public affairs and P & L management. In his new role, Vita will leverage his expertise to lead the strategic direction and provide overall management to the Commercial Services department.

Charlie serves as the Bank’s Chief Lending Officer and is responsible for lending decisions across all lines of business. He also has direct responsibility for all Commercial Lending and Resource Recovery activities and is a member of the bank’s Executive Team.
