Online Banking Tip of the Day: Delete an External Transfer Account

Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can submit a request to delete an external account from your list of transfer accounts?  This is a nice feature if you previously added an external account for transfers and now are no longer transferring funds with that account.
How:  Submit the request by utilizing your secure mailbox.  From the ‘Services’ menu, select ‘Messages’.  From the toolbar, select ‘New’ to open a pop-up window for the message.  From the ‘To’ drop-down list, choose ‘Customer Service’ and enter delete external account in the ‘Subject’ line.  Within the box, type a message saying you want to delete an external account and be sure to include the last 4 digits of that account number.  Review your message, and then press the ‘Send’ button in the upper left corner of the message window to submit your request.  Your request will be processed within 1-2 business days.
