Canandaigua National Corporation (CNC) awards Dana Mayeu with the Employee of the Year Award, known to those at CNC as the Arthur S. Hamlin (ASH) Award, named for Canandaigua National Bank & Trust’s past President, CEO, and Chairman.
The ASH Award is awarded to an employee who exemplifies the core values and characteristics of the man for whom the award is named:
- Go above and beyond
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Help to keep the bank strong
- Take initiative on projects or recommend improvements
- Work to improve oneself
- Actively participate in community organizations
- Demonstrate outstanding performance
- Lives CNC values each day
Mayeu has been with CNC since 2011, and is currently working in our Accounting Department, and has been an integral part since the day she started. She came to us because she was motivated to do more in her personal career, and her contributions to the department and to CNC have been immeasurable. She has learned nearly every aspect of the accounting function at CNC, and has become the accounting co-supervisor. Mayeu has trained and continues to provide oversight to new employees. She is a team player, she does whatever is necessary to get the job done and do it well, and maintains a professional demeanor in doing so. Mayeu continues to provide guidance to relatively new accounting staff as they navigate through their responsibilities. She consistently displays responsibility in her commitment to her position, the department, and CNC.
Congratulations Dana!
