Canandaigua National Bank & Trust Announces 2019 Arthur S. Hamlin Recipient

Canandaigua National Corporation (CNC) awards Samantha Johnson with the Arthur S. Hamlin (ASH) Award. This award is named for Canandaigua National Bank & Trust’s past President, CEO, and Chairman, and is given to a deserving employee each year.

The ASH Award is awarded to an employee who exemplifies the core values and characteristics of the man for whom the award is named:

Samantha has been a part of CNC since 2000 and currently serves as Vice President, Manager at the Pittsford Community Bank Office. Her main objective is to grow her employees, take care of her customers and treat everyone fairly. She seeks out new relationships in the bank and her desire is to learn from each of them. Her decision making is always grounded in our core values. Sam’s intentions are always around what is best for the bank. Her tenure with the bank brings a lot of technical knowledge and history to projects that is invaluable. In addition, what makes her unique is, not only does she have all this knowledge but, she is a good communicator and has the ability to see the big picture.

Samantha earned her degree from Augusta State University and has been certified by Integrity Solutions in Integrity Coaching® & Integrity Selling®. She is an active member of the Pittsford Chamber of Commerce and the Victor Business Connection. Sam is the Co-Founder and Committee Chair of the Victor Women’s of Excellence Awards. She is a Past Board President of the Victor Chamber of Commerce and Past Board Director of the Victor Farmington Rotary Club. She lives in Canandaigua with her son, Aidan, and partner, Joseph, and is a Harry Potter fanatic and a foodie.
