Canandaigua’s Inclusion in Motion Playground held a ribbon cutting and grand opening on June 18th. Deborah Rought, Community Office Manager at Canandaigua National Bank & Trust (CNB) and Past President, Kiwanis of Canandaigua, participated in the ceremony.

The mission of the Inclusion in Motion Playground is “To empower all abilities and ages to play, exercise, learn and socialize together while enriching our community.” A committee was created by Mike and Nanci Bentley, and physical therapist, Sonya Smith, that has successfully worked with the Canandaigua community to bring this vision into reality.

CNB supported the playground’s Dream Big Campaign, with a $25,000 donation. Many community volunteers and civic organizations have worked to not only raise over $1.3 million for the project, but to build and ready this all-inclusive playground for launch.
