November 27, 2013
On Wednesday, December 4th, Canandaigua’s own Kim Tenreiro will perform Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” in the lobby of the Main Branch of CNB at 72 South Main Street in Canandaigua. Mr. Tenreiro has adapted the novel into a one-person play. He will perform all 30 characters of this classic holiday tale, bringing each one to life in a unique and engaging manner. Mr. Tenreiro is true to the text, creating everyone from Marley’s Ghost to the adorable Tiny Tim.
Tickets are $10 each or $25 for a family and are available at all Ontario County CNB branches, from members of the Ontario County Arts Council and at the door. All proceeds benefit the Ontario County Arts Council and the Cheshire Meeting Hall Project.
The evening will begin with a prologue at 5:30pm with Mr. Tenreiro giving some background on the work and the time period. After a short break with refreshments while Kim gets in costume, the performance will begin at 6:15pm. The show lasts approximately 2 ½ hours with a 15 minute intermission and is recommended for 6th grade and up.
