Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can add an account you have at another financial institution to your list of accounts for transfers? Once you complete a onetime, two-step initial process, you will be able to select an external account for funds transfers.
How: From the ‘Transactions’ menu, select ‘External Transfer Setup’ to open the page with the information for the process. Each step of the process begins from this page. Step 1: select ‘Add an External Account’ and press ‘View’. Complete the information on this page and press ‘Continue’ to send two small-value deposits to your external account, usually within 2-3 days. Once the deposits are made to your external account, you have 14 days to verify the deposits by completing the second step. Step 2: select ‘Verify External Account Requests’, press ‘View’, and then press ‘Continue’ to retrieve your list of external account requests. Follow the instructions to enter the exact amounts of the deposits made from Step 1 to your external account. When you have completed both steps successfully you can transfer funds with your external account using the ‘Funds Transfer’ option in both the Online Banking Center and the Mobile Banking App.
