About

Ms. Serinis is the Executive Vice President whose responsibilities include the Retail Branch Network and Consumer Lending. She has over 30 years of sales, marketing and management experience, all of which have been in the financial services industry. Karen joined Canandaigua National Bank & Trust in 1997, and began her tenure at CNB as the Branch Manager and the Area Manager of the Pittsford group of branches. She then served as Senior Vice President of Retail, which included management of the branches, the Call Center, Business Development Officers and Personal Bankers. As Executive Vice President, her responsibilities were broadened to include Consumer Lending and CNB Mortgage Company, in addition to Retail. Her focus throughout her tenure has centered on ensuring the delivery of the high level of customer experience that is recognized uniquely as “Canandaigua National” through all customer delivery channels.

Ms. Serinis received her Bachelor of Science degree from St. John Fisher College, where she majored in Accounting. She also earned her MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology, with a focus on Management. Karen has lived in the Webster area for the past 30 years with her husband, Mike. She has three grown children; two daughters and a son. She has volunteered in many local youth sports programs and had served as a Board Member, treasurer and coach for the Webster Athletes Association for many years; the Town honored her in 2010 by naming one of the softball fields after her in recognition of her extended tenure with the Girls Softball organization. She is currently involved as a Board Member with the Women’s Foundation of Genesee Valley, an organization that supports via grants, local organizations that address the economic self-sufficiency gaps for girls and women.
