Steven H. Swartout, Esq. is Executive Vice President – Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel of Canandaigua National Bank and Trust, Executive Vice President and Trust Officer of Canandaigua National Trust Company of Florida located in Sarasota Florida. He is a graduate of Vermont Law School, Hamilton College, and Canandaigua Academy, and a 2010 Graduate of the ABA Stonier National Graduate School of Banking. Mr. Swartout is admitted to practice in all New York State courts, United States District Court for the Western District of New York and United States Bankruptcy Court. He is currently Chairman of Thompson Health Systems Properties & Services, Inc., a member of the Thompson Health System Finance Committee, Past Chairman of WXXI Public Broadcasting Council in Rochester, New York, a Director of the Canandaigua Family YMCA, a Director of Genesee Valley Trust Company, and a Director of Rochester Midland Corporation. Mr. Swartout has previously served as a Director and officer of The Wood Library Association, Finger Lakes Council Boy Scouts of America, Canandaigua Lake Watershed Task Force, and the Greater Canandaigua Civic Center, and as a member of the Canandaigua City School District Board of Education. Mr. Swartout resides in Canandaigua with his wife Cheryl, they have three grown children and two grandchildren.
