Online Banking Tip of the Day: Search for Transfers By Dollar Amount, Grouped By the Date Originated
Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can search for transfers by dollar amount and have them grouped by the date they were originated?  Different search options, in combination with grouping, makes it easier for you to locate and organize the transfers you have initiated online.
How:  Log in to the CNB Online Banking Center.  From the ‘Accounts’ menu, select ‘Online Activity’.  Press ‘Search’ to display the ‘Search Criteria’ drop-down menu and choose ‘Amount’.  Enter a ‘Minimum Amount’, ‘Maximum Amount’, use the ‘Group By’ drop-down to select ‘Created’, and then press ‘Submit’.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Skip a Payment Within a Recurring Payment Series in CNBillPay
Did you know with CNBillPay you can skip a payment within a recurring payment series?  This is helpful if you want to skip a specific occurrence in a recurring payment series, while the rest of the series continues as scheduled.
How:  Access ‘CNBillPay’ within the Online Banking Center.  From the ‘Payments’ menu, select ‘Scheduled Payments’.  Locate the payment and click ‘Edit’ (when you select edit for a payment that is part of a recurring series, the edit box displays ‘Edit a Recurring Payment’).  Select the radio button for ‘Skip the payment scheduled on’, use the drop-down list to select the date to skip, and then press ‘Next’ for confirmation.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Set a Message in Your Secure Mailbox to Never Expire
Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can set a secure mailbox message to never expire?  By default a secure mailbox message is set to expire six months from the date it is received.  This feature allows you to change that expiration date and keep a message until you delete it.
How:  Log in to the CNB Online Banking Center and from the ‘Services’ menu, select ‘Messages’.  Select a message to highlight it, then from the above toolbar press the icon of an envelope with a padlock, and press ‘OK’.  That message will no longer have an expiration date.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: View a List of Transfers for a Selected Account, Grouped By Status
Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can list transfers for a selected account and have them grouped by status?  When transactions are grouped by status it is easy to see what is scheduled, canceled, awaiting action and already processed.
How:  Log in to the CNB Online Banking Center.  From the ‘Accounts’ menu, select ‘Online Activity’.  Press ‘Search’ to display the ‘Search Criteria’ drop-down menu and choose ‘Account’.  Use the ‘Account’ drop-down to select the account you want to view, use the ‘Group By’ drop-down to select ‘Status’, and then press ‘Submit’.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: View the Number of Times a Recurring Transfer Occurred
Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can view the number of times a recurring transfer occurred?  This is an easy way to find out information on a recurring transfer, such as how many times it has processed.
How:  Log in to the CNB Online Banking Center.  From the ‘Transactions’ menu, select ‘Manage Recurring’ to display the recurring transactions you have created.  Locate the recurring transfer and click on it to highlight it.  In the toolbar above, press ‘View’ to open a pop-up window containing details.  Within the details is a line for ‘Executed Occurrences’, that number tells you how many times that specific recurring transfer has occurred.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Use the CNB App to Cancel a Scheduled Transfer
Did you know with the CNB Mobile App you can cancel a scheduled transfer?  This is a convenient option for when you are on the go and have a transfer you previously scheduled, but now want to cancel.
How:  Sign in to the app and select ‘Transfer Money’ from the ‘Transactions’ section of the main menu.  For smartphones, press the ‘Activity’ button or swipe your finger left.  By default ‘Pending’ activity is displayed.  Locate and select the scheduled transfer you want to cancel.  Verify it is the transfer you want to cancel, press ‘CANCEL FUNDS TRANSFER’, and press ‘YES’ to receive confirmation the transfer is cancelled.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Create a Recurring Payment in CNBillPay
Did you know with CNBillPay you can schedule a recurring payment?  This is an easy way to schedule a payment to a selected payee, which is always the same dollar amount and occurs at a regular frequency.
How:  Access ‘CNBillPay’ within the Online Banking Center.  From the ‘Payments’ menu, select ‘Recurring Payment’.  Use the options on the left to display the payee you want and then select the radio button for that payee.  Enter the details for the recurring payment and then press ‘Next’.  Review all the information for the recurring payment and if accurate press ‘Submit Payment’.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Cancel the Next Occurrence of a Recurring Transfer
Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can cancel the next occurrence of a recurring funds transfer?  This is helpful if you only want to skip the next scheduled transfer of a recurring transaction, rather than canceling it completely.
How:  Log in to the CNB Online Banking Center.  From the ‘Accounts’ menu, select ‘Online Activity’.  If needed utilize ‘Search’ and ‘Group By’ to filter and organize the transfers displayed. Locate the transfer you want to cancel and click the transfer to highlight it.  Then from the ‘Online Activity’ toolbar, press ‘Cancel’.  This will cancel only that occurrence and the recurring transfer will continue as scheduled with the remaining transactions.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Maintain Your Text Banking Preferences
Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can maintain your Text Banking preferences?  This is where you can make adjustments, such as which of your accounts are enabled for Text Banking, the order in which your accounts are presented, and the account short names you created.
How:  Log in to the CNB Online Banking Center.  From the ‘Preferences’ menu, select ‘Account Preferences’, and then select ‘Text Accounts’.  Make your adjustments and when you are finished, press ‘Submit’.  To use Text Banking, you need to be enrolled in Online Banking and completed the ‘Text Banking Enrollment’ process.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Select Options for Viewing Your Scheduled CNBillPay Payments
Did you know with CNBillPay you have options for how you want to view your scheduled payments?  These options are useful for organizing your scheduled payments to be listed in a way you choose.
How:  Access ‘CNBillPay’ within the Online Banking Center.  From the ‘Payments’ menu, select ‘Scheduled Payments’.  By default your scheduled payments are separated by ‘Pay From’ account and sorted by ‘Pay To’ in ascending order.  Use the ‘View Options’ box to choose how you want to have your scheduled payments listed and press ‘View’.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: View your List of Scheduled Transfers
Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can view a list of your scheduled transfers?  Viewing a list of your upcoming transfers can be helpful for you to see what’s ahead and determine if adjustments need to be made.
How:  Log in to the CNB Online Banking Center and from the ‘Accounts’ menu, select ‘Online Activity’ to view the transactions you created online.  From the ‘Transaction Status’ drop-down menu, select ‘Authorized’ and then press ‘Submit’.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Receive a Text Message of Your Account Short Names
Did you know with Text Banking you can receive a text message of your account short names?  This text command not only gives you the balances for all your accounts, it is helpful for verifying your account short names, which are needed for making a transfer.
How:  Text BAL to 226563 to receive a text message with balances for all accounts enabled in Text Banking.  Accounts will be listed by their account short names with the available and current balance.  To use Text Banking, you need to be enrolled in Online Banking and completed the ‘Text Banking Enrollment’ process.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Add an Option for Secure Access Code Delivery
Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can add options for Secure Access Code delivery?  Add the best options for you, since it is necessary to receive a code each time you register a computer for online banking, register a device for the mobile app, and to reset your forgotten password.
How:  Log in to the CNB Online Banking Center.  From the ‘Preferences’ menu, select ‘Security Options’ and then choose the ‘Secure Delivery’ tab.  Select ‘Add Delivery Contact’ and from the drop-down menu choose to add a ‘New E-Mail Address’, ‘New Phone Number’, or ‘New SMS Text Number’.  Enter the information for your selection and press ‘OK’ to add the new option to your list.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: View the Estimated Payoff Amount for a Loan
Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can view the estimated payoff amount for a loan?  This is an easy way for you to view details about a loan, such as the current estimated amount to pay it off.
How:  Log in to the Online Banking Center.  From the ‘Overview’ page, locate the loan you want to view details for.  Hover over the arrow next to the current balance for that loan to open a drop-down menu.  From the menu select ‘Account Details’ to open a window containing details for that loan, including the ‘Estimated Payoff Amount’.  This is available for both loans and lines of credit.
