Online Banking Tip of the Day: View Both Accounts Involved in a Selected Transfer

Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can view both of the accounts involved in a selected transfer?  This is helpful when you want to view more details for a selected transfer, such as which two accounts are involved.
How:  From the ‘Accounts’ menu, select ‘Online Activity’.  Utilize ‘Search’ and ‘Group By’ to filter and organize the transfers displayed.  Locate the transfer you want and click the transfer to highlight it.  Then from the ‘Online Activity’ toolbar, press ‘View’ to display the details of the transfer.  Displayed next to the ‘From Account Number’ and ‘To Account Number’ are the display names and last four digits of the account number for each account.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Enroll in Online Banking, to View your Debit Card Activity

Did you know online banking makes it easy for you to view your debit card activity?  After you enroll in online banking and receive a Login ID, you can log in to the Online Banking Center 24/7 to view your accounts and transactions.
How:  Go to CNBank.com/Enroll.  At the top of the page in a gray box on the right, it says “Enroll in Online Banking today.”  You can enroll for Personal or Business.  Press the ‘Enroll Now’ button under the option that is applicable, to open an enrollment form.  Complete the form and press the ‘Submit Enrollment’ button at the bottom of the form.  Within two business days you will receive an email containing your Login ID and instructions.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Print Only Selected Transfer from List

Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can select to print an individual transfer from a list?  This is helpful when you have used the options in ‘Online Activity’ to display a list of transfers and you want to print only a specific one from that list.
How:  From the ‘Accounts’ menu, select ‘Online Activity’.  Utilize ‘Search’ and ‘Group By’ to display the transfers you want.  Locate the transfer you want to print and click the transfer to highlight it.  Then from the ‘Online Activity’ toolbar, press the icon of the printer with the blue check mark and follow the steps to print from your computer.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Check Both Available and Current Balance with Mobile App

Did you know with the Mobile Banking App you can check both your available and current balance?  This is a convenient resource for when you are out shopping and unsure of how much available cash you have to spend.
How:  Log in to the CNB Mobile Banking App and from the top of the home screen, select ‘Account Overview’.  Select an account to view the ‘Account Details’ screen.  At the top are the ‘Available Balance’ and ‘Current Balance’ for the selected account.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Print List of Displayed Transfers

Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can print a list of the transfers you have displayed?  This is helpful when you have used the options in ‘Online Activity’ to display a list of transfers and you want to print what you have listed.
How:  From the ‘Accounts’ menu, select ‘Online Activity’.  Utilize ‘Search’ and ‘Group By’ to display the transfers you want, separated into groups.  From the ‘Online Activity’ toolbar, press the icon of the printer directly to the left of blue question mark and then follow the steps to print from your computer.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: View a List of Transfers, within an Amount Range, Grouped By Status

Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can view a list of transfers using an amount range and separate them by status?  Using the search criteria in ‘Online Activity’ along with the options for how to group your results, you can display the transfers you want and separate them into groups.
How:  From the ‘Accounts’ menu, select ‘Online Activity’.  From the ‘Online Activity’ toolbar, press ‘Search’ to view the ‘Search Criteria’ drop-down list.  Choose ‘Amount’ and then enter a ‘Minimum Amount’ and ‘Maximum Amount’.  For ‘Group By’ select ‘Status’ and press ‘Submit’.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Mobile App to View Normal Business Hours of Bank Offices

Did you know with the Mobile Banking App you can view the normal business hours for any CNB Bank Office?  This is convenient for when you want to verify if a particular office will be open at the time you plan to go there.
How:  When using the CNB Mobile Online Banking App, press ‘ATM/BRANCH LOCATOR’ from the log on screen, or when logged in, select ‘ATM & Branches’ from the home screen.  From the list, select a location, and then select the address box on the map to view the normal hours of operation for that office.  For information regarding holiday hours visit CNBank.com/Locations and press the link for holiday closings and special hours.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Delete a Contact Option for Secure Access Code Delivery

Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can delete a contact option for receiving secure access codes from your list of phone numbers, text numbers and email addresses?  It is important to delete outdated contact options from your list in order to remove those options from being available.
How:  From the ‘Preferences’ menu, select ‘Security Options’ and then choose the ‘Secure Delivery’ tab.  Locate the contact option you want to delete and click the option to highlight it.  Then from the toolbar above, select the icon of the red X and press ‘OK’.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: View a List of Scheduled Transfers Grouped By Account

Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can view a list of the transfers you have scheduled for each account?  Looking at a list of your upcoming transfers and the accounts involved can help you determine if adjustments are needed.
How:  From the ‘Accounts’ menu, select ‘Online Activity’.  By default, ‘Transaction Status’ is already selected as the search criteria.  Use the ‘Transaction Status’ drop-down list to select ‘Authorized’.  Then use the ‘Group By’ drop-down list to select ‘Account’ and press ‘Submit’.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Mobile Enrollment Required for CNB Mobile Online Banking App

Did you know in order to use the CNB Mobile Online Banking App, you are required to complete ‘Mobile Enrollment’ within the Online Banking Center?  Through this process you authorize your User ID and Password to access mobile banking, and create a code to use for mobile transfers.
How:  Log on to the Online Banking Center and from the ‘Preferences’ menu select ‘Mobile Enrollment’.  By default the ‘Mobile Enrollment’ tab is selected.  Select the box next to ‘Yes, enable my User ID and Password…’ to place a checkmark in the box and press the ‘Submit’ button.  Then select the ‘Mobile Authorizations’ tab and create a 4 digit code (similar to a PIN for a debit card) in the ‘Mobile Authorization Code’ field and press the ‘Submit’ button.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Receive a Security Alert for Changes to Secure Delivery Contact Information

Did you know a security alert is sent out to you each time a change is made to your secure delivery contact information?  This alert will notify you anytime a delivery contact option is added, edited or deleted.
How:  This specific security alert is required and selected by default.  Security alerts are event driven and will be delivered when a security event occurs.  Security alerts are always delivered to your secure mailbox within online banking and to the delivery channels you added.  Review the related tips for information about selecting security alerts and security alert delivery.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Edit a Contact Option for Secure Access Code Delivery

Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can edit a contact option for receiving secure access codes?  This is helpful if you incorrectly entered information for a contact option and need to adjust it.
How:  From the ‘Preferences’ menu, select ‘Security Options’ and then choose the ‘Secure Delivery’ tab.  Locate the contact option you want to edit and click the option to highlight it. Then from the toolbar above, select the icon of the magnifying glass and a key to open a pop-up window to edit the selected information.  Make the changes you want.  When finished press ‘OK’.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: View a List of Processed Transfers for a Specific Account

Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can view a list of transfers that have been processed for a specific account?  The options in ‘Online Activity’ are useful to select the transfers you want listed.
How:  From the ‘Accounts’ menu, select ‘Online Activity’.  From the ‘Online Activity’ toolbar, press ‘Search’ to view the ‘Search Criteria’ drop-down list.  Choose ‘Account’ and then use the ‘Account’ drop-down to select an account.  For ‘Group By’ select ‘Status’ and press ‘Submit’.  Under the ‘Status: Processed’ section of the list are the online transfers that have processed on that account.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Add a Contact Option for Secure Access Code Delivery

Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can add a contact option for receiving secure access codes?  This is a nice feature that allows you to have flexible options for receiving these codes, which are necessary when you access the Online Banking Center from an unregistered computer or when performing the forgot password function.
How:  From the ‘Preferences’ menu, select ‘Security Options’ and then choose the ‘Secure Delivery’ tab.  Select ‘Add Delivery Contact’ and from the drop-down list choose to add a ‘New E-Mail Address’, ‘New Phone Number’ or ‘New SMS Text Number’.  Enter the information for your selection and press ‘OK’ to add the new option to your list.

Online Banking Tip of the Day: Collapse/Expand Groups in Online Activity

Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can collapse/expand groups on the ‘Online Activity’ page?  This is a helpful viewing feature that minimizes what is visible by collapsing the groups you don’t want displayed.
How:  On the ‘Online Activity’ page, click the minus sign to the left of a group name to collapse that section and hide the transfers within that group.  For example, if you choose ‘Status’ for ‘Group By’ and only want to list transfers with a status of processed, click the minus sign next to all other group name sections except for ‘Status: Processed’.  To expand a group and list the transfers within that group, click the plus sign to the left of the group name.
