On July 1st the Veterans Outreach Center, with the support of Canandaigua National Bank & Trust, launched its campaign for donors to support and celebrate 40 years of service to the greater Rochester veteran community. The campaign’s goal is to raise $70,000 to support the Center’s programs available to the 68,000 veterans of the greater Rochester area. That’s a little over $1 for every veteran in the community.
George Hamlin, IV, Chairman of CNB, is pleased to support Veterans Outreach Center. “Something we know about in our business is investing – and we invest in a person’s promise and their values as much as we do financially. Veterans outreach Center is a smart investment, one that we know has paid off for tens of thousands of local veterans, who have earned our respect and deserve our support. We stand behind Veterans Outreach Center and encourage everyone to make this investment, even if it’s just $1, in this program that doesn’t just promise but delivers life changing services to our heros.”
Donors can contribute through the Veterans Outreach Center website, veteransoutreachcenter.org, or by sending a donation via check to the agency’s offices at 459 South Ave, Rochester, NY 14620. Donors with smart phones may pledge by texting ‘VETERANS’ to phone number 87804 to receive a secure link to a payment website to process a donation.
