Did you know that when setting your budget goals in CNBudget Central, each category displays an amount for what was spent during the month and also what the average for that category is, making it easier to determine a budget goal for a category?
How: From the ‘CNBudget Central’ tab, go to the ‘Spending Reports’ menu and choose ‘Set Budget Goals’. Listed next to each of your categories is an amount in the ‘Spending This Month’ and ‘Average’ column. How your transactions are categorized determines these amounts and is why it is important to verify your transactions are being categorized the way you want them to, if not you can manually adjust them accordingly.
